300 W class low temperature difference Stirling engine

Japanese

Today, regarding a future energy problem, it is obvious that it exists a proposition called to establish a method that an energy effectively uses. As one of a solution for this proposition, it is proposed effectively to use heat-source of a comparative low temperature. As heat-source of a low temperature of this kind, sunlight, terrestrial heat, and an exhaust heat of an internal combustion engine, warm drainage of a plant etc. exists. However as energy density is low for these heat-source, it is almost impossible to recover a power from an engine like an internal combustion engine to exist at present. On the other hand, this is possible under a proper condition at Stirling engine, and at present, research of this field is prosperously done and done to be made practicable. Our laboratory even took notice of an application of Stirling engine in this field and researched.

300 W class low temperature difference Stirling engine is an engine produced and designed by way of trial to occur more than 300 W as more practical target output, for under a temperature ratio 0.8, and buffer pressure of several atm as an application of Stirling engine with a low temperature difference range.
