Leslie Smith / Heartache

Leslie Smith was born in Detroit on September 28, 1949. He started the group "Crackin'" with Peter Bunetta (bass) in 1973. "Crackin'" released "Crackin'- I" (1975), "Makings Of A Dream"(1977), "Crackin'"(1977) and "Special Touch"(1978) . For Your information, Rick Chudacoff had joined the band from the second album "Makings Of A Dream".

After the success of Peter Bunetta and Rick Chudacoff by releasing Robbie Dupree's album , they got production deal with Elektra and embarked on making Leslie's solo album which was released in 1982 at last, which contains cover versions such as Airplay's "Nothin' You Can Do About It", Ned Doheny's "Love's A Heartache".
