Leslie Smith was born in Detroit on September 28, 1949. He joined
the group called "Crackin'" which released their first album titled
"Crackin'-I" in 1975. "Crackin'" released four albums in total till
1978.
For your information, Peter Bunetta (bass) and Rick Chudacoff
(drums) members of "Crackin'" are known for their works as producers
of Robbie Dupree's first and second
albums.
In 1982, at last Leslie has released his first album "Heartache"
(Elektra) produced by Peter Bunetta and Rick Chudacoff, which
contains cover versions such as Airplay's "Nothin' You Can Do About
It", Ned Doheny's "Love's A Heartache".
