Ricky Peterson was born in March 19, 1958. Those who have followed his career know him as the talented keyboard player/ arranger, and David Sanborn's "musical director".

He is a gifted blues-based improviser who is always serchin' for new voices and new paths.For your information, his younger brother Paul Peterson is known as St. Paul who plays guitar in many Prince related artist's albums.
