-
- After the success of solo album with his wife in
1981, he started recording session with band members.
However the new album was never released and he was
obliged to stop the band. Do you understand whom I am
talking about? His name is Bob Wilson of SEAWIND, the
best late 70's super Hawaii based fusion/AOR band, known
for the super horn section.
-
- Bob Wilson had to find out a new vocalist instead of
Pauline Wilson to restart his next musical journey and he
met with Tommy
Funderburk, the voice of Airplay.
And, with Larry Williams, ex member of Seawind, Bob and
Tommy recorded an album in Los Angels as the special
project "The Front" in 1984. This album is CCM album,
thus almost all of lyrics written by Tommy are very
spiritual. But, music written by Bob are very
sophisticated and well-produced/arranged with good 80's
Westcoast pop feeling.
-
- For your information, Bob and Tommy would formed new
band "What if" later
with Larry Williams and they released a secular album in
1987 under RCA.
