Robbie Dupree

At the beginning of 1980, Robbie Dupree released his first album including 2 smash hit songs "Steal Away" ranked number 6 on Billboard Chart and "Hot Rod Hearts" ranked number 15.
After he released his second album titled "Street Corner Heroes" in 1981, (which was also produced by Peter Bunetta and Rick Chaudacoff, ex-members of the group named Crackin', to which Leslie Smith belonged), he decided to turn his back on the pop music world circus and returned to Woodstock.
It was not until the of 80's that he made the news again with his 3rd album "Carried Away" released in Japan.

ROBBIE DUPREE with DAVID SANCIOUS

Robbie with acclaimed piano player David Sancious revisit Robbie's own favourite songs. "Carried Away", the title track of his 3rd album (1989) would open this gentle and calm album and is followed by "Month Of Sundays" from the album "Smoke And Mirrors" (1995) and then "Walls Come Down" from the album "Waalking On Water" (1993) .The heart-felt tune, "This is Life" (from the album "Carried Away") should be the highlight of this album. "Desperation" from his 2nd album "Street Corner Heroes" might please you. The album also includes another each from his 90's album: - "Return To Her" from the album "Walking On The Water", "Wings" from the album "Smoke And The Moirror" and "In Real Life" from the ablum "Carried Away". Last but not least, The album is closed by the brand new song "Sunny Day".

Time And Tide

"Time and Tideh marks the ninth studio record of the artist. Comparing with his former studio-recording albums, you might feel Robbie's music style has changed a little. I believe that the main reason must be this is a kind of new Robbie Dupree's Band record rather than the mere solo artist's record. David Sancious has brought a little bit different music style to the band. The result is really awesome and you might feel like listening to a Steely Dan's album. Perfect one! NO, more than perfect. All songs on this album would be are diamonds.True masterpiece!
