This album is the special compliation album gathering cover versions of Japanese pop group "Every Little Thing" known as "ELT" by Westcaost musicians. This kind of project was very popular in early 90's here in Japan as you may know the album like "Tatsuro Songs From L.A.", so, if you are insterested in such kind of project albums, this album would be another one for you.

LIGHT MELLOW AOR-Groovin' and Breezin'

Warner Bros Japan, BMG Japan, Cool Sound and Universal Music are now releasing most sophisticated, groovin' AOR compilation CDs under the common concept over the labels in 2000. Those compilation series is called as "Light Mellow AOR-Groovin' and Breezin'". On July 26, "Light Mellow AOR-Groovin' and Breezin" Warner Edition, BMG Edition and Cool Sound Edition has been released. And Universal Music Edition will be followed this autumn (probably in October) after those! All the tunes are selected by Toshi Nakada, the label owner of Cool Sound.
 
BMG Edition should be noted because it includes several tracks from hard-to-find CDs such as "Perfect World" performed by What If, which is the Tommy Funderburk's project with Bob Wilson and Larry Williams, well-known Airplay's masterpiece tune "It Will Be Alright" performed by Odyssey from their album "I Got The Melody" (1981) and "I Believe" performed by Chilliwack. BMG Edition also includes a first-time on CD track in the world "Touching In The Dark" performed by Brooklyn Dreams from the album "Sleepless Nights" (1979) backed by Jay Graydon.
 
Cool Sound Edition cannot be ignored because it includes 2 previously unreleased tracks! One is "Heart Don't Change My Mind" by Robbie Buchanan featuring Warren Wiebe on lead vocal. Another one is Greg Guidry's "Goin' Down" brand-new re-recording version by himself.
 
Universal Music Edition is also interesting. It includes "My Love" by Puzzle, "To Know" by Lani Hall, "That Kinda Girl" by Alan Gorrie and "You're My Day" by Cory Wells.
 
Please note that all editions of "Light Mellow AOR-Groovin' and Breezin" CDs are strictly prohibited to be exported from Japan due to various reasons. Sorry for non-Japanese AOR/Westcoast Lovers.
