Bill Champlin
As you know, Bill Champlin is one of lead singers of the famous rock group "Chicago" since 1982. Champlin started his musical career as the lead singer of the group named "The Sons of Champlin" which had released seven albums from 1969 to 1977. Then, Bill release his first solo album titled "Single" distributed by Epic in 1978 and 2nd solo album titled "Runaway" distributed by Elektra followed in 1981. Keeping his carrier as the active member of "Chicago" over the decades , Bill restarted to release his solo works in Japan and also European Countries from 1990 . You can see his solo works released under his own name "Bill Champlin" as listed as below.
 
Please be advised that the below-mentioned Bill Champlin solo works are only the limited part of his solo activity, that is to say, not including his lead-vocal sessions on other artists' albums such as Jay Graydon's "Airplay For The Planet" as he did so in late 70's and 80's.
Bill appears as the guest vocalist on quite many albums. And Bill sometimes performs a member of the special project such as Westcoast All Stars, a cappella project with Jason Scheff, Joseph Williams and Bobby Kimball. Moreover, he sings quite a large number of backing vocal sessions here and there.....
 
 
One more thing, Bill reformed the legendary "Sons Of Champlin" in late 90's and started to perform live sometime. Those live materials has been released and further in 2005 " Hip Li'l Dreams", the brand-new full studio recording album, are released. What a man Bill Champlin is!!
