• DOC KUPKA presents STORKELAND SUPERBAND / KICK IT UP A STEP! 

  Stephen "Doc" Kupka, the main member of "Tower Of Power" present you the super project called "Storkeland Superband" with many super musicians including present and former members of "Tower Of Power". You can listen to the lead vocals performed by Huey Lewis, Micky Thomas (of "Starship") and Bill Champlin. Sounds on this album varys from typical "Tower of Power"'s one to Blue-eyed Soul, Rock 'n' Roll, Rhythm & Blues. As a matter of fact, linernotes of the CD says "What you call the music isn't nearly as important as what happens when you play this CD. We challenge you to sit still, but it's simply not possible. Hank Ballard had a phrase for this kind of music, ''Finger Poppin' Time.'' We call it ''Classic Snap For The New Millenium.'' Go Ahead..." So now is the time to enjoy the music with pure heart.

  Another Dakota related album is slot to be on sale. Rick Manwiller, Dakota's keyboard player has completed his 2nd album, which recording was started from August 1997 and ended in July 1998. Don't you know his 1st album? Oh sorry, I have not give you any comment on my website. "Another Fine Mesozoic" (CR-1001) is his 1st album.

• THE BOTTOM LINE / CRAZY DANCIN'
• PEGASUS / PEGASUS

  In the winter of 1973, Jack Conrad started the recording project for disco dance music after coming back from Europe where the disco music was very popular in those days, because nobody did not make such kind of music in the United States. The recording sessions were made in the wee hours of the night at A&M studio. The members of project were not officially published when the album was released in 1974 under the name of "The Bottom Line" firstly in Europe, then in 1976 in USA and Japan. As a matter of fact, No musicians credit was not written except the slip of Japanese pressing LP records as "with exciting Steve Cropper's guitar play". However Steve Cropper never played on "The Bottom Line". It was actually young Jay Graydon! Also, David Foster played with Jay! The legend of "Airplay" had been started from this project.

  In 1974, the other recordings with same members had been made and the projects were released as "Pegasus" and "Makin' Tracks" in 1977. You can at last listen to those tracks featuring young Jay Graydon and David Foster on CD.
