• AMY SKY / BURNT BY THE SUN

Amy Sky, one of the talented Canadian female singer/songwriter has just released her 2nd solo album "Burnt By The Sun". On this album, she reveals how she can write various type of songs and how she can sing in various style. Some songs are like those of Cheryl Crow's in late 90's, some songs are like those of good old late 70's Westcoast Music. "Soul On Soul", the duet ballads with her husband Marc Jordan must be one of the finest songs of 1998. She sings her life on this album; "Forgiveness" is the dedicated song for her father who has passed away in 1997 and "Ordinary Miracles" is the birth celebration song towards her kids. Amy says "With this record I'm trying to reflect the reality of life as a 30 something working woman, wife, mother and daughter. At the same time, I feel as if who I am as a person and who I am as a performer are coming together. Everything I am, everything I want to be, is gelling - vocally, lyrically, musically."
