This album is a collector's item of Robbie's 5 previously unreleased tracks recorded during the early stages of Robbie's career. Tracks 1-4 were recorded in L.A. in February 1983, which were the last recordings produced by Rick Chudacoff and Peter Bunetta. Track 5 is mid 70's recording under the name of the band "Small Fortune". Only 1000 copies have been pressed, and only been available through a few sources throughout the world!

Carmen Grillo known as the ex-guitarist of the legendary group "Tower Of Power" has started his solo career.Carmen Grillo is also known for his guitar session works on albums with such great talents as Smokey Robinson, Donna Summer, Boz Scaggs, Luis Miguel and Bill Champlin. This album is not guitar-instrumental album, most of the tracks are featuring Carmen's incredible vocals! If you like the sound of Bill Champlin's solo works, this album must be for you. I would hereby highly recommend to buy this album now!

URBAN KNIGHTS / URBAN KNIGHTS II <ACM Rating: >

You must remember that URBAN KNIGHTS is basically the project by Maurice White and Ramsey Lewis. On their 1st album, the members of this project are Ramsey Lewis, Grover Washington Jr., Victor Bailey and Omar Hakim and produced by Maurice White. On this 2nd album, the members are Ramsey Lewis (piano), Gerald Albright (sax), Jonathan Butler (vo, guitars), Najee (sax, flute) and Sonny Emory (drums). This is really good fusion album featuring some vocal tracks by Jonathan Butler.
