PETER
MAYER / ROMEO'S GARAGE
Peter Mayer is known as "PM", the leader of the legendary late
80's US pop group "PM". After releasing 3 albums as the group "PM"
("Pieces Of Paradise" from their 1st album was ranked #8 on
Billboard Hot 100 Single Chart in 1988), Peter started his solo
artist activity by releasing his 1st solo album "Green Eyed Radio"
in 1995 by himself besides playing as the lead guitarist of Jimmy
Buffet's Coral Reefer Band. Later, PM established his position
year by year as a solo artist and his first solo album "Green Eyed
Radio" has been widely distributed in the United States by Pool
Party Records in 1996. At the end of 1998, Peter has just released
his 2nd solo album "Romeo's Garage" again under Little Flock
Records, his own label. Roger Guth and Jim Mayer, the rest
original members of "PM" are supporting Peter on all the tracks of
this album. Peter's music style is the mid-american and westcoast
music mixed one with very unique influence, which origin seems to
be coming out from his experience in India in his childhood. His
acoustic guitar play is awesome. Once you can see Peter's live
gig,, you must be knocked down definitely. Actually I was done
when I saw his live performance at the 2nd Westcoast Music
Festival in Disneyland Paris in the autumn 1997.

Bruce Gaitsch's 3rd solo
album is finished His 2nd solo album "Aphasia" (1997) shows
Bruce's wide range talent as a guitarist and/or a producer.
When you listen to this new recording materials, I guarantee
you can feel more relaxing atmosphere than his 1st solo album
"Lyle in A Windstorm". I mean this album is more
guitar-oriented album than other 2 albums. And Richard Marx
adds another touch by cover version of Richard Page's
"Dependence".I hope we can share this great music all over the

PROMOTION
/ YEAH YEAH
Promotion is the good Swedish rock funk group with horns that
reminds us the Chicago. Sometime you may feel good 80's TOTO's
rock'n'roll sound. The beginning of this group was 1984 as Mark 5
and in 1986 the band changed the name Promotion. In December 1997,
Promotion has released 1st album with unique title matching its
group name "Not For Sale" on their own
label and distributed by AOR
Heaven, German leading AOR CD retailer. Gradually they
established their status among AOR fans all over the world. And
now they has just released 2nd album "Yeah Yeah". Highly
recommendable album for Chicago and TOTO fans again. Worth
listening!

OLE BOSKOV
/ MR. ROMANCE
Ole Boskov is a singer/songwriter from Denmark. He released
his debut album Listen to the Wind in 1996 under his
own label PM Records and now his second album Mr.
Romance has just released. It contains nine brand new songs
in the singer/songwriter style and it is in Oles own unique
style. Ole, himself explain his music background as follows: "Some
of my greatest influences have been artists like: Bruce Hornsby,
John Hiatt, Van Morisson, The Band, Eagles, Don Henley, Little
Feat, Billy Joel and Elton John. These are the ones that have
influenced me the most, but of course there are so many great
artists that I have listened to through the years. I have also
been very much into listening to Jazz and I am a great fan of
players like: Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, Joe Zawinul, Oscar
Peterson, Michel Camillo and Erroll Garner. I am a very Pop
influenced person and I love good pop songs, so my big ambition is
to make quality pop that has a broad appeal but which can also be
enjoyed by the more esoteric listener. I like to write songs to
educate people a little bit, and put in things which I have found
to be working for me and then forward this onto others and maybe
they will get a win and find something new out themselves."
Actually His music reminds me good mid 70's westcoast music such
as early years Eagles, Poco and/or Fools Gold. Although he is not
US residents, he has some kind of typical American country rock
feeling and further his music seems to be mixed up with early 80's
westcoast sound.

REISSUE
ERIK TAGG
/ RENDEZ-VOUS
The hardest to be reissued and longest-waited to be reissued
album must be this "Rendez-vous" album of Eric Tagg (Erik Tagg),
Mr. A.O.R. This album is called among the cult Japanese AOR fans
as "The Green Album". At last this album is now appearing in front
of us on CD with new fascination. I mean that this "Rendez-vous"
should be called as "Complete Rendez-vous" as Eric Tagg himself
said so to me when I interviewed him in the summer of 1997. (At
that time, Eric said to us that the excellent unreleased recording
materials during the Rendez-vous session are existing and he
wished this album would be reissued with those unreleased
materials on CD as complete Rendez-vous. Yes, dream has come true.
4 unreleased songs is added to the original 9 songs. Over more
than 20 years, this album does not lose its brilliant sound. This
is the 2nd solo album of Eric Tagg released only in Netherlands
and never released in any other countries afterwards.

SIBLING REVELRY /
SIBLING REVELRY
SIBLING REVELRY / STRONGER
Sibling Revelry is the Christian Vocal group of
Bill Cantos with Rita and Roxanne, the
Cantos Sisters. They released 2 cassette albums, one of which is
"Sibling Revelry" and the other is "Stronger". The original
version of "What Would You Do For A King" which can be listened on
Bill's album "Who Are You" appears on the "Sibling Revelry". Thus
I wonder you may find out Bill Cantos' music roots by listening to
these albums. Actually these albums are categorized in
Contemporary Christian Music, but the music is West Coast
One.

DAVID
DIGGS / THE ARTFUL COLLECTION
David Diggs, One of talented keyboard/guitar player is well
known not only for his own solo works such as "Streetshadows"
(1985), which was a top 10 entry on Billboard's Jazz Album Chart
for 26 weeks, but also for his producing works with Quincy Jones,
Irene Cara, Brothers Johnson and/or Richie Furay. This is the 2 on
1 CD, his two albums "Nothing But The Truth"(1990) and "Tell Me
Again"(1991) released under Artful Balance Records as the title
shows.
White Heart is still now continuing to release their
melodious hard rock'n'roll tunes in the present CCM scene.
However, their early 80's albums are remarkable. "Hotline" is
their 3rd album featuring new guitarist Gordon Kennedy replaced
Dann Huff. As regards the album "Live At Six Flags" released in
1986, there is no information when this live recording was made
officially. However it is said to be the live recording in the
summer of 1983 or 1984 before "Hot Line" was released in 1985,
judging from the tracklisting and including Dann Huff guitar
solo.
