What's is nuon?
一般の人はほとんど存在を知らないと思われるnuon（発音は”ヌーオン”ということにしております）。簡単に説明すると、DVDプレイヤーに付加できるマルチメディアチップ。というか、DVDプレイヤーでゲームが出来るようにするためのチップといえる・・・かな。
でまぁ、そういったハードを総称してnuonと言うようになってます。nuonマシンとかnuon対応DVDソフトといった感じで使います。
ここではnuonに関する情報を取り上げていきます。主に海外情報の転載になってしまうのは否めないところだけど、日本で売ってないからしょうがないわな。んでまぁ、VM-Labは会社更生法の処理中のようなので、これからまた色々ありそうです。
追加：（2002/08/14）
結果が出ました。紆余曲折ありましたが、VM-Labの事業は全て終了だそうです。んー、結果として短い命でした。
MPEGの将来性にかけたのは良いのですが、その進化のスピードについていけなかったのも１つの要因だけに残念な所です。

2012年現在でも、まだ更新してます。すげーな。
しかし、問題なのが、googleとかで検索してもこのサイトが上位に出てこない事だよなぁ。
最新情報なのに大手のサイトに負けてる…。まぁ、googleなら当たり前なんだが。
"nuon SD2300"とか"nuon N591"とかだったら間違いなく上位に来るんだがな（笑
とか言ってたら、ウィキペディアの下くらいに来てた。三番目？
