A family suffers effect of tear gas in Seoul, South Korea in June, 1987. Riot police imprudently used military-grade tear gas to disperse demonstrators. So ordinary people gradually started to support demonstrations to demand democratization by students in the year. Police and the Chun Do-hwan administration had lost support in this stream.
