1 kW class low temperature difference Stirling engine

Japanese

This is an Alpha-type Stirling engine, which is located two power pistons in a line. This type engine can locate the heat exchangers in the short distance, so the dead volume and the pressure loss decrease. This engine is the newest in our laboratory.

The engine is very big size. The engine weight is aboput 2 ton.
The diameter of the cylinder is 400 mm.
Shell and tube type heat exchangers are adopted as the heater and cooler.
