I live in Fukuoka Prefecture situated in the northwest end of kyusyu Island in Japan.

I've taught politics and history for 30 years in high school.

When I was 37,I was forced to use a computer at work.

That's how I got familiar with computers.

I now have keen interest in computer programming.

Stimulated by my colleage,I began surfing on the internet last year(1995).

I now enjoy "leaving"Japan every night on the Net.

I decided to celebrate my 40th birthday by creating my home page.

Probably you know how bad housing is in Japan.

Actually,my computer sits in my narrow kitchen of my house.

That's why I decided to subtitle my home page "FROM MY KITCHEN WITH LOVE".

By the way,Japanese society has many serious problems which need to be solved.

Perhaps these problems are common in your country as well.

Or maybe they are unique to Japan alone.I'd like to introduce some of these problems to you.

I'll add some interesting pesonal experiences,too,so you could get an idea of what Japanese society is like right now.

I'm very interested in informing the world via the Net about Japanese society and our history.At times,I'll use some of my lecture notes to upload some Japanese topics.

I hope they'll arouse some interest in you.
