さて、再び長期休載を経ての更新となります。今回は、とんでもないものが発売されましたので、緊急の更新となりました。それは、皆さんもご存じの通り、テッドとローリーの時代の作品群にボーナストラックや未発表ライヴアルバムを加えた３０枚組のボックスセット「THE VINTAGE YEARS」です。アマゾンの最低価格保証でも４万円をわずかに切ったという高額の商品（現時点では価格は４万円台半ばになっています）ですが、その内容も凄く豪華です。
付録のほうからいきましょう。まずは、フルカラーの豪華装丁ブックレット。これだけでひとつの商品になってしまいそうな、メンバーのインタビューもふんだんに収録した読み応え十分のアルバムガイドです。
そして、ポスターブック。見たことのあるのから初めて見るようなものまで収録されています。もちろん、日本公演のものもありますよ。ポスターブックの他に、復刻版ポスターも４枚ついています。
次は、デビュー時のプレス用の資料の復刻版。これも豪華です。そして、日本盤仕様の「光なき世界」のソノシート。7インチ盤レコードにしなかったのは、割れるのを恐れてでしょうか。
最後に、メンバーの直筆サイン入りのポートレートが５枚。これも嬉しいところです。特に、音楽活動から遠ざかっているスティーヴのサインは、今となっては貴重ですね。
続いてCDのほうです。後で曲目を（アマゾンのコピペに修正を加えたものですが）書きますが、オリジナルアルバムには（ないものもありますが）ふんだんにボーナストラックを収録し、おまけに未発表のライヴアルバムが８枚という豪華なラインナップです。未発表ライヴアルバムは、（まだ全部聴いてはいませんが、）新たにミックスされていて音もいいです。初期のライヴでの「DOCTOR」や「SO MANY THINGS TO SAY」が聴けるのは、涙モノですね。(^^)
