Ten pou one bu silver : Ten pou ichi bu gin.
Production era : AD 1837-1854.
Production place : Kakigarachou, Edo (Tokyo).
Shogun : Tokugawa Ieyoshi, Tokugawa Iesada.

There are cherry blossoms on the edge of obverse and reverse. One cherry blossom of each surface is upside-down. The location of this upside-down blossom decides the minute type of this coin.
Minute type of this coin : Ts.
There are stamps on each side.
"Ten pou"is name of years when this type of coin was made for the first time.

Obverse : Chinese character inscription : Ichi bu gin.
From observer's point of view, from up to down, Ichi (= one), bu (= a Japanese old unit of currency), gin (= silver).
Reverse : up : a hallmark : Tei or Sadame (= decision).
Reverse : down : Chinese character inscription : Gin za, Jyo ze.
From observer's point of view, right up : Gin (= silver), right down : za (= mint), left up : Jyo, left down : ze. "Jyo ze" is name of the director of the mint of silver coins.
