From observer's point of view, up : Xian (= all), down : feng (= richness), right : yuan (= original), left : bao (= treasure). Hemming line.
Reverse : Chinese character inscription : from up to down : Dang bai. Dang (= deserve), bai (= a hundred). Therefore this inscription means "this coin deserves one hundred pieces of usual coins".
Reverse : Manchurian character inscription : from observer's point of view : from left to right : Bao he. This is name of the Mint Bureau. Hemming line.
